Where: Chicago Workforce Center – Pilsen 1700 W. 18th St Chicago, IL 60608 3rd Floor, Computer Lab B
When: Every Friday (except holidays, and/or otherwise stated)
From 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
What: Assist veterans with, but not limited to:

  • Job search assistance / development
  • Assistance with filling out and answering questions about job applications
  • Employer-sponsored recruitment / hiring events
  • Candidate workshops that will better prepare you for the workforce o Actual employers/organizations are on-site to discuss topics such as, but not limited to: Proper resume format (including cover letter) Application process Key things to remember for a job interview Mock interviews And more…
  • Resource assistance / information from veteran friendly partners
    • Can make referrals for you on-site
  • And MUCH more!!
