Remembering Pearl Harbor 79th Anniversary

“Our debt to the heroic men and valiant women in the service of our country can never be repaid. They have earned our undying gratitude. America will never forget their sacrifices” – President Harry S Truman

Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, December 7, 2020, marks the 79th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.

The National Women Veterans United …..Remembers …..

It’s hard to forget history that changed American and Military history.

How do we forget 2,403 Americans who died and 1,178 who were wounded. According to many accounts of this tragedy, eighteen ships were sunk or run aground, including five battleships. All of the Americans killed or wounded during the attack were non-combatants, given the fact there was no state of war when the attack occurred.

Let’s pause for a moment of Silence for those we loss and remember the selfless sacrifices of all and the families they left behind.
