The Rockford Detachment 083 Marine Corps League will host the 2015 Marine Corps Birthday Ball from 6 to 11 p.m. Nov. 7 at Memorial Hall, 211 N. Main St. The event will include a buffet dinner, a ceremony and awards, and live music and dancing. Complimentary beer and wine will be served all evening. Cost: $45.
