Secretary Giannoulias is warning Illinoisans to exercise caution and employ best-practices when shopping for a used vehicle. This warning comes amid a rise in fraudulent vehicle purchases across the state. 
The Illinois Secretary of State’s Office and the Salvation Army will host a Veterans’ Resource Fair on Thursday, Nov. 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center of Chicago, 1250 W. 119th St. 
Former members of the Guard and Reserve who do not have any periods of active duty other than their initial active duty for training and annual training are now eligible to receive “Veteran” on their driver’s licenses.
