NWVU member honored at the Savannah Juneteenth Festival
Juneteenth celebrates the liberation of the black race and affords African-Americans an opportunity to rebuild, re-educate, and reclaim our community. The Daughters of Mary Magdalene honor our ancestors and those who epitomize their spirit. The Honorees included Ms. Alfreda Mitchell (posthumously); Jazz Legend Mr. Ben Tucker (posthumously); Mr. Teddy Adams; Mr. E.
