The National Women Veterans United (NWVU) is participating and hosting a citywide "On the Table" Event. We will explore ways to address violence against women, violence in the community and across the city. State Sen. Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant (D-Shorewood) will be hosting a Veterans’ Breakfast next month. The Veterans’ Breakfast will take place from 8:30 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13, at Plainfield American Legion, 24741 W. Renwick Road.

Woman Warriors Day
Woman’s Warrior’s Day on Saturday December, 15 from 10 am to 2 pm at Humboldt Park, 1400 N Humboldt Dr. (3000 West –zip code 60622). Proof of service will be required. The program offers Yoga classes, resources, and VA information on benefits and services.
