Women Veterans Wellness Event hosted by the Chicago Park District in partnership with the Jesse Brown VAMC Women Veterans Health Center and the Chicago Vet Center. The event is from 10am to 1pm on Friday, December 19th at Fosco Park. This event is all about self-care and wellness for women Veterans and will hopefully help alleviate some holiday stress. Here are some of the offerings:

– Chicago Park District and Coca-Cola “Troops for Fitness” demonstrations

– Jesse Brown VA “MOVE” program

– Healing, Reiki, and Massage treatments by Healing Touch, Here’s the Rub, and Awaken Blossom

– Five lucky ladies will win makeovers by professional makeup artist, provided by One Savvy Veteran (raffled off at 11am)

– Visit by Santa Claus at 11am!

– Kids Christmas Crafts provided by the Chicago Vet Center

– Beauty bags for Mom
