The DAV AG Tricentennial Chapter 84, and DAV Chapter 17 presented a generous donation to NWVU Board member (LTC Ret) Arthurine Jones, and Associate member Bessie (Aunt Bessie) Thompson, to assist with military women veteran services and the SGT Simone A. Helping Veterans in need can be a Family Affair
Quilted blankets were placed in the National Women Veterans United (NWVU) SGT Simone A. Robinson Military Women Veteran’s Center meditation room. Twenty of her hand-knitted hats were given to homeless female Veterans at an NWVU stand down, and the remaining hand-knitted items will be provided, by the United Relief Foundation, to other Women Warriors in need.
