NWVU and family of fallen hero Sergeant Simone Robinson, who died due to injuries sustained in the Afghanistan war. NWVU members joins the family annually on Memorial Day at Restvale Cemetery to lay a wreath. Simone’s daughter is now 10 years old and proudly wears the NWVU Brave Girl Medal with her mom’s picture holding her at 2 years old before deployment to Afghanistan.
