According to the Veteran’s Administration, each day 22 VETERANS commit suicide. To remember the victims, those affected by these suicides and to help prevent others, LCC’s KARE 9 Military Ministry sponsors a “22” event each month on the 22nd of the month. Designed as an outreach and support for active military, veterans and their families, “22” offers a safe, confidential and upbeat environment for sharing and fellowship as it raises awareness. The Kare 9 Military Squad gathers to help host this evening with food, music, ceremony and informational/inspirational speakers and fellowship. Already this year, more than 200 people have joined LCC at these events to share time together, reminisce about time in the military, and are treated to speakers who share insight and information
