Dear State Representative (name)
I am writing in support of HB 4667 a specialty Illinois Women Veterans License Plate. For decades during peace time and during war; women of valor have served in the Armed Forces with honor. Today they continue to make immeasurable and historical accomplishments and sadly many have made the ultimate sacrifice.
I am unaware of many states that garner recognition for women veterans and women that currently serve on active duty. The Illinois Women Veteran’s License Plate will be a great tribute to the more than 56,656 women veterans in Illinois that truly deserve this acknowledgement. Thank you for your consideration and I hope that I can count on your support.
Sincerely,
State Representatives
John D'Amico (18th District)
Tom Cross (84th District)
