The Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans With Disabilities (EBV) and The Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans’ Families (EBV-F) are accepting applications for 2016 and currently filling our EBV Mizzou, FSU and TAMU classes.
Eligibility:
EBV: Post 9/11 veterans with a service connected disability (or seeking a disability status) and a passion for entrepreneurship.
EBV-F: First degree family member caregivers of post 9/11 veterans with a service connected disability (or seeking a disability status) and a passion for entrepreneurship.
The Programs:
EBV Class As you may know, EBV and EBV-F are premier entrepreneurship training programs offered by the IVMF, the organization that hosts V-WISE. These novel, one-of-a-kind initiatives are designed to leverage the skills, resources and infrastructure of higher education to offer cutting-edge, experiential training in entrepreneurship and small business management. There are 3 phases to the EBV program: 30 days online, a 9 day residency and 1 year of ongoing support.
The programs are completely free of charge – participants do not need to use GI Bill or VOC Rehab benefits to participate and we cover all costs of participation (transportation, lodging, meals and books).
You can read about both programs at ebv.vets.syr.edu. For any questions, please contact ebvinfo@syr.edu.
Thank you for your consideration in sharing this with anyone you think would be interested and a great fit for the EBV or EBV-F programs!
